Additionally, four people traveling in this vehicle were detained for questioning.

Similarly, action was taken against those carrying illegal money in Rapune and Pimpri Chinchwad on October 24 under the code of conduct for Lok Sabha elections. Rs 25 lakh cash was seized from Pimpri Chinchwad. Earlier, 3 lakh 80 thousand rupees were seized near Shaniwarwad in Pune city.

Election Commission employees and police teams were patrolling in Pimper Chinchwad. This amount was found during checking of a vehicle at Wakad border. When asked about this, the interested party could not give any answer. This amount was detected during the Lok Sabha elections and the team confiscated it. The Electoral Commission reported that the person from whom the money was confiscated is a local citizen.
