On this occasion, the eighth Deepotsav program was organized in Ayodhya. In view of this, 25 lakh lamps have been lit at the Saryu river ghat in Ayodhya.
This is a world record, when 25 lakh lamps are lit on one ghat. For this, 28 lakh lamps were ordered from local artisans, so that even if 10 per cent of the lamps are damaged due to some reason, 25 lakh lamps can still be lit.

To make the Deepotsav program a success, many great leaders, including UP CM Yogi Adityanath himself, have arrived in Ayodhya. CM Yogi Adityanath has also pulled the bandwagon of artists dressed as Lord Ram, Laxman, Mata Sita and Lord Hanuman and has also performed aarti at the Saryu river ghat.
CM also visited the Ramlala temple and performed the Ramlala aarti. During this time a large crowd of people was seen here.
