List of Lucknow Super Giants retained players for IPL 2025: Lucknow Super Giants have retained a total of 5 players ahead of the mega auction of IPL 2025. The name of KL Rahul, who was the captain of their team, is not included in these 5 players i.e. KL Rahul has broken his ties with the franchise and will now be seen in the auction. This time Lucknow Super Giants have retained a total of 3 international players and 2 non-international players have also retained their places in the team. In such a situation, now the Lucknow Super Giants team will enter the auction with a total of Rs 69 crore.
KL Rahul separated from LSG team
KL Rahul was associated with the Lucknow Super Giants team of IPL 2022. But he did not make the team win the title even once. Last season, their captain’s Lucknow team could only win 7 out of 14 matches and were ranked number 7. During the last season, after a match, KL Rahul had to witness a heated argument with the owner of the Lucknow Super Giants, Sanjiv Goenka. Lucknow Super Giants retained these players
Lucknow Super Giants have decided to retain Nicholas Puran, Ravi Bishnoi, Mayank Yadav, Mohsin Khan and Ayush Badoni. Nicholas Pooran is the team’s most expensive retention. The Lucknow supergiants have spent Rs 21 crore on Nicholas Pooran. Apart from this, Ravi Bishnoi and Mayank Yadav were held for Rs 11 crore each.
