Mansoor Khan, the director and cousin of Aamir Khan, who made excellent films like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar in the 90s, is into cheese farming. Hundreds of kilometers from Mumbai, Mansoor Khan runs a cheese-related business in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. In an interview he said that he knew he couldn’t live in Mumbai.
Speaking to YouTube channel India Now and How, Mansoor Khan said that when he was in the United States in 1978, he knew that he would not live in Mumbai. He said that he had made this decision a long time ago. Mansoor Khan said that many people don’t know that he deliberately left Mumbai because they see and know him only as a filmmaker.
Mansoor Khan said that many youngsters come to his farm and ask him how he made cheese farming possible in a place like Coonoor, where necessary medical facilities are not available. During this, he also said that there is no need for everyone to leave Mumbai and live in a place like Coonoor. He said that was my personal decision because I didn’t want to live in the city.
