Mumbai As Mahayuti headed for a landslide victory in Maharashtra on Saturday, BJP spokesperson Praveen Darekar said Devendra Fadnavis is likely to be the state’s next Chief Minister. Praveen Darekar said that if there is a BJP government at the center and in the state, then Maharashtra will develop further, for which the people have given us the majority, for this I especially thank the dear sisters and the people of the state. He said that the Chief Minister will be only from the BJP, I think Devendra Fadnavis will be the CM.
Meanwhile, Shiv Sena MP Naresh Mhaske said that this victory is the result of work done by all Mahayuti voters. We have worked for all components: farmers and workers, whose results are visible today. The BJP is emerging as the largest party, so Devendra Fadnavis will once again become the CM of Maharashtra. According to Election Commission of India (ECI) trends, the Mahayuti alliance is leading with over 200 seats out of 288, while Maha Vikas Aghadi is leading with just over 60 seats.
Meanwhile, a video of Devendra Fadnavis has surfaced in which he talks to his mother and tells her that he will finish the work and go to seek her blessings at night. Fadnavis leads by a wide margin from the Nagpur assembly seat. BJP leader Praveen Darekar lashed out at Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut and said he needs to “land his plane” as the people of the state voted in favor of the NDA alliance.
Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar leads in Baramati, his wife Sunetra Pawar said it is a very lucky day for Ajit dada, the NCP, the public and Baramati.
