Massive fire broke out at Alipore factory
A massive fire broke out at a factory in Alipur area on the outskirts of Delhi on Saturday night. 35 fire vehicles of the fire brigade rushed to the spot to extinguish the fire. A Delhi Fire Service (DFS) official said there were no casualties in the fire and efforts were being made to extinguish it. He said that around 4:00 pm information was received about a fire at the factory located in Phirni area of Alipur.
Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, in a post published on social media platform ‘X’, said that this incident is worrying and she is personally monitoring the matter. The Chief Minister said that he is in touch with the concerned district magistrate and all possible help is being provided. He said there are no reports of anyone being injured in the incident. Fire service officials said the warehouse was used to store paper and chemicals, but no concrete information was available at this time.
200 firefighters were busy extinguishing the fire.
On the Alipore fire, chief fire officer Virendra Singh said, “The situation is under control. We received the call around 4 pm on Saturday afternoon. Currently, 35 fire tenders are on duty. Around 200 Firefighters, including officers, are involved in the firefighting operation. All three collapsed. We brought water from a distance of 500 meters. There was no firefighting system in the warehouse.
Fire breaks out in Alok Vihar apartment in Noida
Early on Saturday, a flash fire broke out in an apartment in Alok Vihar Apartment in Sector-50, Noida. Soon the fire took on a terrifying shape. The fire occurred on the sixth floor of the apartment when the people in the apartment locked up and went somewhere. Once information about the fire was received, a team of firefighters rushed to the scene. With the help of two vehicles, the fire team managed to control the fire. Due to the fire, goods worth thousands of rupees kept in the apartment were reduced to ashes.
