Australia’s second innings got off to a worse start than India’s. Today (November 23), on the second day of the game, the Kangaroo team started playing at 67/7. Jasprit Bumrah completed his five wickets by dismissing Alex Carey in his first ball of the morning, which was the eighth knock for the Australian team. Carey was caught by wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant after scoring 21 runs. The Australian team’s eighth wicket fell for 70 runs.
After this, the Kangaroo team received the ninth blow in the form of Nathan Lyon. Lion 5 (16) was dismissed by Harshit Rana, caught by KL Rahul. When Lion was out, Australia’s score was 79/9. The last batsman out of the Kangaroo team was Mitchell Starc (26). In their first innings, the Australian team scored 104 runs.
