Jasprit Bumrah took a maximum of 5 wickets in the first innings for India. While Harshit Rana scored three hits, while Mohammad Siraj scored two hits. Overall, Bumrah halved Australia while Rana and Siraj cleaned it up.

Earlier, the Indian team scored 150 runs in the first innings thanks to Nitish Reddy’s 41 runs. For Australia, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Mitchell Marsh took two wickets each. While Hazlewood achieved a maximum of four hits. For Australia, all 10 wickets were taken by fast bowlers.
