Rajasthan By-Election Result: Bhajanlal and Madan Rathore got stronger with the by-election results.

  • Kirori, Beniwal and Ola failed
  • The factionalism and stubbornness of parliamentarians drowned Congress

Rajasthan By-Election Result | Ajit Mendola. Jaipur. The results of the by-elections in the state were very interesting. While these results have strengthened Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and State President Madan Rathod, they have raised questions about the political future of many veterans.

Speculation has begun over the political future of minister Kirodilal Meena in the Bhajanlal government, as well as RLP supremo Hanuman Beniwal and senior Congress leader and MP Brijendra Ola. The three leaders were considered to have a monopoly on their respective seats, which was broken with the by-election results.

Kirori’s brother Jagmohan Meena lost to Dausa. Beniwal’s wife Kanika Beniwal failed to win in Khinvsar. In Jhunjhunu, Brijendra Ola’s son Amit Ola had to face a crushing defeat.

By-election results were disappointing for Congress

It can be said that the results of the by-elections were very disappointing for the Congress. Due to the mutual dispute, it was already decided that Congress would be in trouble and that is exactly what happened. The stubbornness of the parliamentarians and their habit of weakening each other caused damage.

Although state president Govind Singh Dotasara had tried to resolve the matter somehow, it did not work. At the same time, after winning 9 seats in the Lok Sabha, the Congress accepted that the situation was already created. MLA-turned-MP Harish Meena stubbornly got the ticket for a weak candidate in Deoli-Uniara.

Similarly, in Jhunjhunu, Brijendra Ola got a ticket for his son Amit Ola. This angered other leaders. Murari Lal Meena, who became MP from Dausa, also played, but Kirori Lal Meena himself was caught in his own trap. Kirori felt that he would make his brother win. Because of this matter, people in his community and others also became angry.

The public rejected the politics of family politics. Jagmohan Meena lost in this matter. The Congress saved face from the lone Dausa seat. The Congress put up a good fight in Ramgarh, but Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi’s message “If you fight, you will be cut off” also had an impact in Ramgarh and the Congress lost. By winning, Jat dominated Jhunjhunu and Khinvsar, BJP in a way convinced the Jats.

The BJP had suffered losses due to Jat resentment in the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections. The Bharat Adivasi Party saved its stronghold by winning Chaurasi. But, posing a tough challenge to the BJP in Salumbar, he indicated that it is slowly making headway in the tribal areas. The BJP has been able to win the Salumber seat by a very narrow margin.

Leaders like Raje-Rathore will also be sidelined

The Bharatiya Janata Party regained one of the seats it had won in Salumber. At the same time, four seats have also been taken from the opposition. This time, by winning 5 out of 7 seats, the BJP has also increased its numbers in the Assembly. This is the first major achievement of the duo of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and State President Madan Rathod. Along with him, Satish Poonia’s stature has also increased in the party.

The party won the seats where Poonia went to campaign. At the national level, the party gave him greater responsibility. After this victory, leaders like former CM Vasundhara Raje Scindia and Rajendra Rathod will be sidelined.
