1. 20 rounds of vote counting were completed at the Sisamau assembly headquarters in Kanpur, in which the SP won by 8,629 votes. SP candidate Naseem Solanki got 69,666 votes while BJP candidate Suresh Awasthi got 61,037 votes. BSP candidate Birendra Shukla got 1,409 votes.
