Delhi Mayor Election

New Delhi: Polling is underway for the mayoral elections in Delhi. Delhi MPs were the first to cast their votes. BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj also cast her vote at the Civic Centre. At the same time, as soon as President Satya Sharma reached his seat, a ruckus began at the Civic Centre. According to the information, the Congress councilors created a ruckus in the House. Congress councilors created a ruckus accusing the AAP mayor of violating the rights of Dalits. The eight councilors of Congress left the Chamber.

Congress will not participate in the mayor-vice mayor elections

The mayor-deputy mayor of Congress does not participate in the elections. Expressing its displeasure over the limited tenure envisaged for the next Dalit mayor, the Congress on Thursday decided to boycott the election of mayor and deputy mayor in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). When the session started an hour late at 3.05 pm, Congress councilor Nazia Danish and others gathered in the well of the House and criticized the AAP for not doing anything during its tenure for the development of the city.

Congress councilor Sabila Begum switched sides

At the same time, the Aam Aadmi Party has claimed that Congress councilor Sabila Begum has resigned from the party and will support the AAP candidate in the mayoral elections. In a letter to the Delhi Congress president, he said the Congress Party has ordered not to vote in the MCD House in the mayoral and deputy mayoral elections to be held on November 14. BJP will directly benefit from this. As a few days ago, the election of a member of the Permanent Committee was going to be held. Also in the last mayoral election, we organized a strike on the orders of the party, due to which we had to face the wrath of the people of our ward and people put up posters claiming to accept bribes of Rs 50 lakh each. in the room. That is why we cannot support the BJP. I resign from the primary membership of the Congress Party.

BJP MP Bansuri said this

On the other hand, BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj said that voting is going on now and we have just cast our vote. Every hardworking BJP worker is committed to advancing the nature of India and Delhi on the path of nature. Today, if the BJP is elected and the BJP mayor and deputy mayor are elected, then I know the inactivity that the MCD suffers because of the AAP. By removing him, the MCD will do its duty and the BJP will work for the people of Delhi.

At the same time, BJP MP Kamaljit Sehrawat says the mayoral election is not for the party but for the candidate. Seeing the situation in Delhi, the people of the national capital are in trouble. I am sure the BJP will be elected mayor.

Who will be the mayor of Delhi?

The Aam Aadmi Party has fielded Devnagar councilor Mahesh Khichi as its mayoral candidate, while Aman Vihar councilor Ravinder Bhardwaj is contesting for deputy mayor. Meanwhile, the BJP has fielded Kishan Lal from Shakurpur as its mayoral candidate and Neeta Bisht from Saadatpur as its deputy mayor.
