Akshay Kumar
The Bharatiya Janata Party-led Mahayuti alliance stormed the assembly elections in Maharashtra. The BJP, Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) and the NCP (Ajit Pawar faction) jointly wiped out the opposition. The elections in Maharashtra mean that Bollywood stars would have also voted strongly. And this also happened. From Salman Khan to Shahrukh Khan to Akshay Kumar, all stars took the responsibility of casting their votes in their respective assemblies.
What was special this time was that Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who got citizenship some time ago, also voted for the first time in the assembly elections. Akshay Kumar’s residence falls under Andheri West assembly constituency. In such a situation, he had done his duty by casting his vote. On November 20, all 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra, including Mumbai, were polled.
Who won where Akshay voted?
Now the question is which candidate from which party won from the place where Akshay Kumar voted for the first time in the assembly elections. Akshay voted in Andheri West Assembly. In this assembly seat, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Amit Bhaskar Satam defeated Congress’s Ashok Bhau Jadhav by 19,599 votes. Amit Bhaskar Satam got 84981 votes, while Ashok Bhau Jadhav could only reach 65382 votes. Independent candidate Arif Moinuddin Shaikh came third in this seat and secured 1,527 votes.
