Seeing the victory of the Indian Alliance, which was leading with more than 50 seats, Hemant Soren spoke about various aspects during an interview. Giving credit for the victory to the people of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren said that we made preparations and managed to get our message across to the people, but it is very important that the people believed in me. The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha-led alliance leads in 57 of the 81 assembly seats. Hemant Soren has given the credit for this victory to his wife Kalpana Soren and his team.
He said, ‘You saw how we performed in the Lok Sabha elections. If he had been out of jail, we would have done even better. At that time, my wife Kalpana Soren worked as a ‘one-man army’.

Hemant Soren further said that the alliance benefited from the state government’s Mayiya Samman Yojana. Regarding Mayiya Yojana and support for women, she said it is true that Jharkhand is one of the poor states, where every rupee matters a lot to the people. Mainya Samman Yojana has been successful here and our focus will be on the social security of the people here. In such a situation, this is our first priority and we have seen its results.
