Receiving rejection in love is not something strange. Accepting or rejecting a marriage proposal is not something new. But a horrible, tragic and heartbreaking incident has come to light in Assam. Four people, including her parents and sister, were killed five days before the wedding in Rupihat area of Nagaon district of the state. According to information received from the police, the deceased have been identified as Gunadhar Sarkar, 58, Surdhwani Sarkar, 50, Jayasmita Sarkar, 23, and a youth.
According to information received from the police, Gunadhar Sarkar’s elder daughter Akshi Sarkar got married in November. The victim was married to Kushal Sarkar of Syedari village. Preparations for the wedding were going on in the house and the mandap work had also started, but before that, there was mourning in the house. The police have already taken possession of the bodies and sent them for autopsy.
He was proposing to Akshi’s government for two years.
At the time of the incident, the elder daughter Akshi Sarkar was on her way to the Nagaon market. Akshi works as a TET teacher in Nagaon. According to the information received from the police, Anupam Sutradhar of Teliapatti, Nagaon was proposing Akshi Sarkar for the last two years, but Akshi used to reject him. Meanwhile, the girl’s marriage was arranged. This angered Anupam and he killed everyone. Police are investigating the murder. The incident has created commotion in the area. The police are busy searching for the accused.
A case like this has also happened before.
A similar case came to light a few days ago in Tamil Nadu too. In Thanjavur district of the state, the family of a young man had approached the school teacher with a marriage proposal, but the teacher rejected the marriage proposal. The young man could not tolerate this reaction and went to the school and killed her.
