ISKCON has clarified its stance on Chinmoy Krishna Das arrested in Bangladesh. In the statement issued by him, it was said that ISKCON Bangladesh supports Hindu saint Chinmoy Krishna Das. ISKCON supports Chinmoy Krishna Das’ peaceful protest to protect Hindus and their places of worship. ISKCON has neither refused to support their rights and freedoms nor distanced themselves from them.

In fact, ISKCON Bangladesh General Secretary Charu Chandra Das said in a statement that Chinmoy Prabhu has been expelled from ISKCON. ISKCON is not responsible for the steps and statements they are taking, on which ISKCON has now clarified its position and said that it stands with Chinmoy Prabhu’s peaceful protest.

Amidst all these incidents, the High Court of Bangladesh has not banned ISKCON and has refused to do so.
