Minister of Revenue, Housing Construction and Urban Development presented the roadmap of his departments
Punjab News (Aaj Samaj), Chandigarh: Punjab Minister for Estates, Construction, Urban Development and Water Supply and Sanitation Hardeep Singh Mundian, presenting the roadmap of his departments during the Real Estate Conference, said there is a need to prioritize planned urban development in the state and solve The problems of people and city dwellers related to this are being continuously worked to achieve.
In each city, housing developments similar to those in large cities will be built, which will be equipped with better infrastructure on a very modern map. Surveys are being carried out in all cities in this regard and will soon be developed by the department. The non-NOC plot registration works were pending for a long time, regarding which the government passed a law and issued a notification. Plots up to 500 yards will be recorded without NOC. This process will continue for three months from December 1, 2024 to February 28, 2025.
Providing responsive services is our priority
The Cabinet Minister said the government’s top priority is to provide accountability and transparent services. In a special field to resolve pending cases, various development authorities provided colony licenses, completion certificates, letters of intent, zoning plans, construction plans, promoter registration certificates and layout plans, etc. to 51 promoters/builders. Now on December 3, the second camp will be organized, in which certificates will be delivered to more than 100 promoters. He further said that the government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann does not make promises but gives assurances which are fulfilled in all circumstances.
