Ayodhya. One person died in a head-on collision between two motorcycles. And two people, including a woman, were injured. The incident took place near Itaura intersection in Purakalandar police station area. Rajkumar Dubey alias Raja Dubey, a resident of Badhanpur in Bikapur area, was taking his daughter Shikha Dubey to the divisional hospital for treatment. Near Itaura junction on Bharatkund-Darshannagar road, he collided with another motorcycle coming ahead.
Rajkumar Dubey, Shikha Dubey and the driver of the other motorcycle, Vijay Kapoor, were injured in the collision. The police reached the spot and shifted the three injured to the divisional hospital. Where Rajkumar Dubey died during treatment. The injured Shikha Dubey’s leg is fractured. Vijay Kapoor, a resident of Devasia Para Bikapur, who was on the other bike, was also seriously injured. The injured are under treatment at the divisional hospital.
Purakalandar police station inspector-in-charge Devendra Singh said both the bikes have been seized. A report will be submitted upon receipt of the complaint.
