(Rewari News) Rewari. An awareness program on gender-based violence is being organized under the leadership of DC Abhishek Meena at the Faculty of Agriculture, Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Bawal.
In the program organized under the chairmanship of SDM Bawal Uday Singh, children were given information about Child Marriage Act, Domestic Violence Act, POCSO Act, One Window Centre, 112 number and Police Helpline.
SDM said every child should know their rights. He said that a children’s legal services unit has been created in each district. This unit works to protect the legal rights of children. Ensuring that children receive correct and equitable legal aid, HAU Director Naresh Kaushik, District Program Officer Shalu Yadav, DCPO Deepika Yadav, Lalita One Stop Center Director Pramod Bagri, Tushar Kumar Supervisor etc. , were present in the program.
