AajTak Literature 2024: A three-day literature fair is being organized at Delhi’s Major Dhyan Chadha National Stadium. Many Kalams performed at ‘Khwateen Ke Mushaira’ on the stage of Sahitya Aaj Tak 2024. During this, poets Dr. Nusrat Mehdi, Alina Itrat, Hina Rizvi, Jyoti Azad, Prerna Pratap and Poonam Ghazal graced the occasion with their poetry. This session was moderated by well-known presenter and journalist Shamstahir Khan.

On the second day, in the ‘Khwateen Ka Mushaira’ session, Hina Rizvi read poetry on the stage of Sahitya Aaj Tak.

-What kind of ocean did the eyes draw?
who found the way to my heart
When did you know we would drown?
He simply pulled out the straw with his hands.

-The pain made its welcome in the heart like this.
The eyes shed tears day and night.
Love is a fool’s game, we used to say
And then one day we did this stupid thing.

-I can’t even deserve to breathe.
no one can be that guilty
Let me wander with passion in the sky blowing ashes
This can’t be my love’s lover.
Who has spread these lies throughout the world?
Love can never happen a second time.

-Some of those pains in the heart can feed love.
If it comes out of the lip, my drain will hit the ground.
Sometimes let the tears bring some pain.
All the burdens of the heart must not fall on Tabassum.

-Where all the pains wait
declare your love for someone
And those boats that are not afraid of mojo.
The river itself takes them to the shore.
Listen to them, give them some time.
Prayer improves the lot of the elderly.

-If you can’t forget us either.
Imagine if this love makes you cry one day.
Leave the one who broke your heart
But if the heart is afraid of loneliness.
And the sun that illuminates the whole world.
If a dark moon deepens it

– Looks good in the patio on the walls.
If someone raises the patio wall
You may even waste your life in pursuit of wealth.
And if you reach your destination in old age
He stays at home and dreams of London
If you go to London and feel homesick.

-Hijra moments have passed like this in love for us crazy people.
As if at every moment one stepped on grains of burning sand
We have spent centuries under the Besaya trees
There are footprints in our bright sunny deserts
When the people eating at the table walked away, I remembered
Even strangers used to become ours on the floors.

The poetry of the poet Alina Itrat received many applause, here are some lines

-Those whose strong intentions became their identity.
The goals themselves become easy for them.
The words that remain locked forever in books.
The whirlwind of time erases his identity.

-What woke you up in the last hour of the night?
What was the shadow of the Hijra?

Neither we understood nor our hearts felt any reason.
I don’t know if that person was mine or if it was a stranger.

It is true that the lips did not move.
But what was the message that the eyes conveyed?

The sea had nothing to do with the air.
Still, what was that noise the wave made?

The feeling of connection without connection.
He never understood what we told him.

Senior journalist Shamstahir Khan also read a few lines:

– The juggler had brought bread on the way.
People considered his compulsion a farce.

– Right now the flow of mud on the wheel continues.
Now the potter’s intentions can change

Poet Dr. Nusrat Mehdi enthralled the audience with her poetry like this:

– Where was I expressing any concern of mine?
I was in the role assigned to me in each phase.

People don’t understand my talent any other way.
There was fun in me. Hidden, she was having fun.

– There will be a survey here after the rainy season.
Our voice will be there first.

Only threads of Azdad’s culture will remain
There will be no knot or border on the veil

Please weigh it in the scales of justice.
My sheet will be heavier than your towel.

– What should I do if I go through life like a thread?
What should I do if I die of fear of embarrassment?

What should I do to get your peace?
If I fall, if I break, if I fall apart, what should I do?

The arrows of the wind come again on the wings.
Parvaaz, should I stop? Should I be scared? What should I do?

What is your request for me, sir?
Should I continue my journey or stop, what should I do?
