Counting of votes in the Maharashtra Assembly elections continues. Going by the trends, the BJP alliance seems to be winning an overwhelming majority. Therefore, unrest has increased in the opposition camp. From the opposition group, Shiv Sena faction leader Uddhav Thackeray, Sanjay Raut, has raised doubts about the results. Sanjay Raut has expressed his fear of irregularities in the results.
‘How can all Shinde candidates win?’
He has said that this cannot be the wish of the people of Maharashtra; we know the people of Maharashtra. Sanjay Raut has said that this is not a public decision. He said how can it happen that all Shinde candidates are winning.
Actually, to have a majority in the 288-seat Maharashtra Assembly, we need to win 145 seats, but the Mahayuti alliance is leading with more than 200 seats. As per trends, the Mahavika Aghadi alliance is leading with just 52 seats.
