New Delhi: A private school in Rohini has received a bomb threat. The school received this threat via email. Security agencies were alerted after receiving information about a bomb. The agents arrived at the scene and investigated the entire premises, after which no object similar to a bomb was found in the area. After this, officials classified this information as a rumor. This case pertains to a private school in Rohini, Delhi, where a bomb threat was received via email. As soon as information was received about the matter, officials from the Delhi Fire Service also reached the spot. Authorities said that after an extensive search of the school premises, the threat was proven to be a mere rumor.
Nothing was found in the investigation.
According to an official, information about the bomb threat was received via email from the Delhi Police at 10.57 am. The official said a team of Delhi Fire Service (DFS) immediately reached the spot. Police, the bomb disposal squad, the sniffer dog squad and DFS personnel investigated and searched all school facilities, authorities said. The officer said no suspicious objects were found and the threat turned out to be a hoax. He said the police have started investigating the matter.

Let us tell you that a low intensity explosion occurred near PVR Prashant Vihar in Rohini itself early on Thursday. One person was injured in this explosion. The Delhi Police has registered an FIR in this regard. An officer said that a case has been registered at Prashant Vihar police station under various sections of the BNS. The official said a case has been registered against unknown persons and efforts are on to arrest the accused who dumped or planted explosive material at the spot.
