Many medicines did not pass the quality test
The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) has published the NSQ list. The organization has stated that in total 90 medicines turned out to be of poor quality. Around three medicines have been found to be fake. Furthermore, the quality of samples of 56 drugs was found to be poor. Medicine samples are analyzed every month to identify counterfeit medicines. During this, drug samples are analyzed in the laboratory. A report is then issued about it.
According to the report, CDSCO decides whether the quality of medicines is good or not. Medications in poor condition are identified. After this a list of poor quality medicines is published. This NSQ action is taken in collaboration with state drug regulators. This test is done so that we can know whether the medicines are manufactured according to the quality or not.
Also medicine for anemia and inflammation.
The Central Drug Standard Control Organization conducts random sampling. Many drugs have also failed tests this time. Medicines that are not of good quality include medicines such as antacids, Pandi, paracetamol, glimepiride and Telmisartan, a high blood pressure medicine.
Among the drugs whose samples were not approved by CDSCO, samples of the anemia drug iron sucrose, the inflammation drug metasone, the vomiting drug rabeprazole, and the antibiotic nepopoxacin also failed. Drug samples are analyzed every month. Some medications were banned. A warning in this regard is also sent to companies whose quality of medicines is deteriorating. Instructions are also given to maintain the quality of medicines.
