Three people, including a woman and her son, died in two separate road accidents in Uttar Pradesh’s Sultanpur district on Saturday. The police reached the spot after receiving the information and sent the body for autopsy. Police say further action is being taken in the matter.
The first incident took place in the Lambhua police station area. Here, a 22-year-old man named Pritam Patel from Damri village of Pratapgarh district died after his bike collided with a culvert in Lambhua police station area. Patel was on his way to a wedding in Sarai Makar Kola village when his bike spun out of control near a petrol pump on Baba Janwaria Nath Dham Road.

SHO Akhand Dev Mishra said local people took him to Lambhua Community Health Center (CHC), where doctors declared him brought dead. The police informed the family and the body was sent for autopsy.
Mother and son died in second accident
The second accident took place on the Tanda-Banda National Highway, where a JCB machine collided with a bicycle. In this accident, Usha Devi, 40, and her son Saurabh, 17, died on the spot. They were both returning home when the accident occurred. Police sent the bodies for an autopsy and began an investigation into both accidents.
According to police, Usha Devi (40), a resident of Balipur village in Ambedkar Nagar district, and her son Saurabh (17) were returning home from Sultanpur Civil Court when the accident occurred. Police said that due to the collision, Usha Devi fell into a roadside ditch, while Saurabh was buried under the JCB, due to which both of them died on the spot.
Jaisinghpur SHO Anirudh Singh said the bodies were sent for autopsy and the families were informed. Police said both accidents are under investigation.
