Ambala News | Ambalá. Major Subedar Yogender Singh, Sarath and his staff of 948 (AD), MSI Regiment Workshop, Ambala Cantt presented a seminar to create awareness about army recruitment among the students of Government Polytechnic, Ambala City. The latest rules and procedures of Indian Army posts were discussed in the seminar.
This effort was undertaken by the Regiment in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Indian Army to eliminate misconceptions spread among the general public and students regarding recruitment into the Army. The seminar focused mainly on the technical admission process for graduates in Electronics, Mechanics, Electrical and Computer Science.
Subedar Major also told the students that there is another mode of entry where students can also get a diploma after the training course in the Army. Responding to students’ questions, he also explained the methods of admission in Military Police, admission in B.Tech and admission of women.
This seminar was organized by Dr. Rajiv Sapra, Rector of the Polytechnic, for the students of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
At the end of the seminar, NCC Officer Captain Jagjit Singh and Training Officer Hitesh thanked the officers who presented this seminar by handing over the institute’s magazine to them.
