However, sources have now reported that this meeting has been cancelled. According to sources, a meeting of the BJP legislative party will now be held first. Meanwhile, information has also emerged regarding when the name of the Chief Minister in Maharashtra may be announced.
When will the CM be announced?
According to the information received so far, a meeting of the BJP legislative party will be held first. In that case, the leader of the BJP legislative party will be elected. Then there will be a joint Mahayuti meeting. The CM may be announced on December 1 or 2 in the presence of both observers from Delhi. A meeting of the BJP legislative party may be organized. If Shinde’s close relatives are to be believed, meanwhile Shinde will also go to his village in Satara.
What does Shiv Sena say?
Earlier, news had come that the Mahayuti meeting could be held today afternoon. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Shirsath had said that Eknath Shinde will take a decision on the post of Deputy Chief Minister in today’s Mahayuti meeting. Shinde can remain in the government. At today’s meeting the departments would also be discussed again. At the same time, another Shiv Sena leader Deepak Kesarkar had said that Shiv Sena is with Mahayuti and assured that Eknath Shinde will be given due respect.
There was a meeting with Amit Shah.
On Thursday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah met leaders of Mahayuti parties. Ajit Pawar, Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis attended this meeting. After the meeting, sources informed that Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar agreed to make Fadnavis CM. BJP has assured that it will give due respect to Eknath Shinde.
