Report of the Federal Court of New York, (Today Society), Washington: The US court charged Adani Group chief Gautam Adani with fraud and bribery worth billions of rupees. Following the allegations, Rahul Gandhi demanded the arrest of Gautam Adani. US prosecutors have alleged that Gautam Adani paid bribes worth $250 million (about $21 billion) to Indian officials in exchange for favorable terms to win solar energy contracts in India. The case was heard in the Federal Court in New York and eight people, including Adani, have been charged with fraud and bribery worth billions of rupees.
