Mohali Crime News (Aaj Samaj), Chandigarh: A Chandigarh University student, arrested on Wednesday for the murder of a foreign student, committed suicide by hanging himself in police custody. While the death of two foreign students in two days has caused a sensation in the university, there is a good chance that this matter will reach the International Commission on Human Rights. According to information received from the police, Zambian student Savior Chikopela, 24, had murdered Tanzanian student Nuru Mari two days ago. They both studied in the same class. On Wednesday, local police arrested the accused Salvador Chikopela. The police were about to question him in this case when the accused committed suicide by hanging himself in the police cell.

Kharar Sunny Enclave Police Post Suicide
According to police sources, Savior Chikopela was arrested on Wednesday for the murder of Tanzanian student Nuru Mari. He was kept at the Sunny Enclave police post in Kharar. Around 1 a.m. on Wednesday, Savior hanged himself from the bars of the dungeon. The police immediately took him to Kharar Civil Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. The Kharar police have remained silent after this incident. The doors of the police station have been closed since this morning. In this regard, Mohali SSP Deepak Pareek said that this matter is under his knowledge. On Wednesday night the accused was arrested and committed suicide.
