Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann participated in Jain Bhagwati Diksha Mahotsav
Punjab CM News (Aaj Samaj), Mohali: Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann appealed to people to follow the path shown by peer saints, gurus and prophets. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party government of the state is also walking on the same path to take the state on the path of progress. Addressing the meeting at Jain Bhagwati Diksha Mahotsav here in the presence of Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria today, the Chief Minister said that as the head of the state, it is his duty to protect the interests of all residents.
He said Punjab is a blessed and sacred land, where people of all religions, languages and all sections of society live in peace and harmony. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the people have given him a huge mandate to serve this land and he will leave no stone unturned for this noble cause.

The Chief Minister said that the variety of flowers soothes everyone’s eyes, so people throng to see them. He also said that the harmonious and peaceful coexistence of all religions in all societies is important for the progress of the country. Bhagwant Singh Mann said his government is committed to this noble cause and all necessary steps are being taken to strengthen the spirit of communal harmony in the state.
The Chief Minister said that religion teaches us the principles of simple living, high thinking and non-violence to achieve salvation through the path of spirituality. He said the eternal message of every religion is global brotherhood, communal harmony and peace, which is relevant even in the context of today’s materialistic society.
