Scientist and writer Gauhar Raza attended the ‘Myths and Science’ session on the first day of Sahitya Aaj Tak. He has written his books ‘Jajbo Ki Lau Tej Karoon’ and ‘Myth and Science’. To show how small a human being is, Gauhar Saheb narrated a story… something like this.
…It’s very important to understand that as far as we try. The scientists shouted. He screamed and called. Do we have any neighbors? Science says there can be many neighbors. But nobody understood it. According to science we are also special. There aren’t any either. A human being is born. grows. Experience is that a person increases his experience. Acquire education, expand the scope of education but we still don’t know what is happening in any corner of the universe. What is the most important question. (He said this while pointing towards extraterrestrial civilizations)

Then, referring to the Rigveda, the Hindi translation of the verses written in it was made…
There was a time at the beginning of this universe,

In extremely high temperatures. This also spread. After almost a while, Matter won this tug of war. Thanks to this victory this entire universe was created. Then the particles were born. Hydrogen converted to helium. Its clouds began to spread. The temperature began to drop. The clouds began to shrink.

Stars collided and formed due to gravity. The universe had expanded to 100 light years. These stars came closer. Galaxies formed as they approached. Galaxies or Galaxies. Billions of galaxies. Gauhar said my experience in the last 30-40 years. There is no one here who has gone to every Kumbh Mela continuously for 30 years. I talked to the people there. I was born there. Near the coast. A man asks a question. It has answers to the questions. Examine each answer. For example, in Europe the focus was on science communication.

The plan was to divide the humans there into two parts. Scientifically literate and scientifically illiterate. Man about himself. About your environment. Asks questions. Therefore humans are not viruses. I don’t know when the process of asking these questions began. Humans ask questions more than other animals. Man has been continually trying to understand the universe. Looking back, the entire human civilization is a story of questions and answers.
Agriculture brought a great change… when man realized his
A great change occurred. Agriculture began. For the first time he realized that this was his farm. This is mine. my house is I have children. But many ideologies also flourished. Which says that all humans are equal. But some say that not all humans are the same. High and low. Black and white. Speaking of social evolution. We talk about property. In reality these people are a virus for society. These are not viruses to the universe.
Division of religions… In every corner of the world, a growing child is between 9, 10 and 16 years old. So ask all these questions. The answers are available in different ways. There will be controversy about this. It’s there too. It will continue to happen. Religion is answering why. Science is answering how. When these are divided, man asks himself two big questions. This universe, the earth, the sun, the appearance of the moon. The birth of humans.
Every human child at least once asks this question…
Who created all this? How was this created? Whenever we talk about why, it leads us to create that structure of thought. Which says there is someone who created it. The second big question is what is the difference between the living and the dead. How do you survive? How does someone die? This is a very beautiful and flexible answer. There is a soul. As long as it is in the body, it is alive. When he came out, he died. Many stories can be created in this. As if there was a creator who had created the world according to his will. They are both talking to each other. The creator gradually begins to control the soul. The union of the soul with Him becomes the final goal. There is coordination between these two. As stories spread around them. Civilizations become complex.

The history of Africa consists of five elements. Man was created from these five elements. This story will be found in different forms in the texts of each religion. There are four elements in there somewhere. There are five elements somewhere. Because the periodic table has not arrived. Life is created from these five elements. NCERT has once again brought out the periodic table. We may want to reteach our children about the four elements.
Man does not give up his experience…
There is a myth behind every story. But the human experience does not give up. What is the experience? An object thrown into the air will fall. This is the experience. Then the question arises where the earth rests. Somewhere Nandi’s horn is honking. Somewhere it’s on Sheshnag’s hood. Somewhere he is on the back of a turtle. These are the conceptual models behind all these myths, in answer to those questions. Science continually searches. He asks questions over and over again. Conceptual models remain rooted in religion. Whether one tribe or many. The models freeze in the middle. Tribal myths are found.
When myths are codified. When they appear in books, they become established truths. Then they start to control people’s thinking. Don’t ask too many questions. When there is a restriction on asking questions, it goes back to science.
