Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini spoke as chief guest at the closing ceremony of the district level youth festival organized at Kurukshetra Multi Arts Cultural Center on Friday. Before this, the Chief Minister also visited the Science Fair at the Multi Art Cultural Center auditorium and also encouraged the winning participants by giving them letters of appreciation.
Appreciating the presentations of the participants in the District Youth Festival, the Chief Minister stated that India is today the country with the greatest youth power in the world. The successful Prime Minister of the country, Shri Narendra Modi, has set the goal of developing India by making this youth powerhouse the strength of the country. He has considered youth as the first pillar of the nation. He believes that to build a developed, great and divine India, we have to further strengthen the four Amrit pillars. These are the pillars of nectar: ​​our youth power, our women’s power, our farmers and the middle and poor classes.

India is today the country with the greatest youth power in the world.

The Chief Minister said that work is being done to fulfill the promises made in the resolution letter. He said that on the lines of IMT in Kharkhoda, Haryana, the aim is to establish IMT in ten districts in the next five years and work will be done to provide employment to local youth in these IMTs. The youth of Haryana have left a mark in the country and abroad with their talent. The Chief Minister said that our government has been in power for 10 years. In these 10 years, we have done everything possible to provide an open space for young people to achieve success, so that they can overcome all the obstacles that come their way. Today, be it education, employment, startups, skills or sports, the government is preparing a modern dynamic ecosystem in all fields to support the youth of the state. He said a new National Education Policy has been implemented to provide the youth with modern 21st century education. To help the youth who are doing wonders with their practical skills, where PM Vishwakarma Yojana was started, while the country’s first skill college was opened in the name of Shri Vishwakarma, so that the youth of the state can connect with skills. He said that today the mood of the state is young and the style is also young. He who is young does not follow, he himself leads. This is the time for young people to expand their dreams.

The youth of Haryana have a commendable participation in national level competitions.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister also stated that today the dreams of the youth are coming true. Eligible candidates get government jobs without any expense proof. He said that the government’s priority is for the youth to get ahead, the government is with you. Whatever challenge you want to complete, our government will fully support you. Be it education, skill development, help with self-employment or traveling abroad, the government is committed to providing you with ultra-modern knowledge and skills, as well as financial assistance at every step.

The Chief Minister said that in the next five years, the government has set a target of providing permanent jobs to two lakh youth on the basis of merit. He said the number of young people seeking employment abroad is increasing. Many times young people fall into the trap of scammers who promise to send them abroad and go abroad through the dirty route. Young people should not fall victim to such scammers. The state government has worked to eradicate this problem from the donkey route. In this direction, we have created a Department of Foreign Cooperation to provide education and employment to young people in foreign countries. Our goal is that by 2030, all youth in the state are skilled and economically prosperous. When we achieve this target, Haryana will achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. He said that the government has provided skills to more than one lakh youth under the ‘Haryana Skill Development Mission’, so that young people can take care of themselves. The government’s priority is to promote industries that provide employment opportunities to qualified youth. Under this, there is a separate MSME in the state. The department has been formed.

The Chief Minister asserted that sisters and daughters have equal stake in the development of the State. The government is driving the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision on drone technology and NaMo Drone Didi to empower them. In this regard, in the first phase of ‘Drone Didi Scheme’, 500 self-help groups in 500 villages will be provided free drones worth up to Rs 8 lakh. He has appealed to all youth to uphold their primary duties and contribute to advancing society.

Prior to this, SDIT Panchkula CEO Vivek Aggarwal welcomed the visiting officials and Dr Gurmail Singh Bajwa, State Director of Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan Haryana, thanked the guests. The results of various competitions organized at the district-level youth festival were as follows. In group folk dance, first prize went to Kurukshetra University, second prize to Government ITI Kurukshetra and third prize to Government ITI Shahbad. Isha and Akash won the first prize in Solo Folk Dance, Shilpa won the second prize. In group folk song, first prize went to Kurukshetra University, second prize to Kurukshetra Government Polytechnic and third prize to Kurukshetra Government ITI. In Solo Folk Song, the first prize went to Shubham, the second prize to Neha and the third prize to Isha Rani. Rajni won the first prize in short story writing, Alisha won the second prize and Damini won the third prize. In the painting competition, Sphurti came first, Simranjit Kaur came second and Devendra Longia came third. In declamation, Upasana stood first, Sagar Sharma second and Himani Goyal third. In photography, Akanksha came first, Kirandeep Kaur came second and Kushpreet Kaur came third. Sagar Sharma stood first in Poetry, Mili stood second and Kajal stood third. In the science project, Raghav won the first prize, Ramzan won the second prize and Nancy won the third prize.
