Chandigarh News: On Thursday night at around 2.30am a fight broke out between two groups over a dispute over drug supplies and money and during the fight one side attacked the other with knives. Due to which a young man named Dilawar died on the spot and his friend Shubham was seriously injured due to a knife wound on his ribs. Who is receiving treatment at Chandigarh government hospital. According to information received from sources, the deceased young man used to supply drugs to the attackers and the fight occurred over a monetary dispute. The attackers stabbed the deceased Dilawar several times in the chest, due to which he died on the spot.

It was reported that the attackers had arrived on motorcycles and there were more than half a dozen young people who committed the murder. The body of the deceased is at the Dera Bassi Civil Hospital mortuary for autopsy. The condition of the second injured youth is said to be serious and his operation continues. The deceased has been identified as Dilawar (35), a resident of Dhakola village, Dhakoli and the injured is said to be Subhash (25), a resident of Karnal, Haryana, who lived in a PG on Patiala Road.

Police are checking all CCTV cameras around the crime scene and conducting raids to arrest the attackers. Currently, following the complaint of the brother of the deceased, the police have registered a case against unknown attackers under sections 103, 109, 115(2), 126(2), 3(5) of the Indian Penal Code and have started a search. for them. The attacker is said to have been hired by drug traffickers to supply drugs to the deceased Dilawar and Shubham. But while selling the drugs, both suppliers became addicted to drugs and the amount of drugs delivered by the smuggler for sale was reduced, leading to a dispute over lack of money. Stopping the growing supply of drugs in the city has become a headache for police.
