Chandigarh News: A woman working at a kiln in Khedi Jatta village gave birth to her baby in an ambulance while arriving at the hospital. Currently the woman and child are healthy and admitted to the Derabassi Civil Hospital. The woman who gave birth to the child has been identified as Saraswati’s wife Radha Swami BKO Bhatta, a resident of Manoj Hall, Khedi Jatta Derabassi village.

Giving information, the woman’s husband Manoj Kumar said she lived in Manauli Kiln. Last week it arrived at the kiln located in the village of Khedi Jatta. They have two children, a 5-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl. This morning, when his wife began to suffer labor pains, he left for the Derabassi Civil Hospital in the ambulance. When he reached near Bijanpur village, his wife gave birth to the child in the same ambulance.

Manoj said that when he felt pain at 8:42 in the morning he called number 108 to ask for an ambulance, from where he told them that they were leaving Laldu and would arrive soon. All this happened because the ambulance was about an hour late. Manoj said that both mother and child are healthy and admitted to Derabassi Civil Hospital.
