Attacking the state’s BJP leaders, Chauhan said some BJP leaders were making exaggerated claims about disqualification of the state’s elected MLAs by citing paragraph 50 of the Himachal High Court order in the CPS case, but had have to face defeat after this. orders. Chauhan said the Congress government has also agreed that it will not make any more appointments to the CPS. The Himachal case has been heard in the Supreme Court linking it with the pending cases of other states. Now all these cases will go together and the next hearing is scheduled for January 20. This matter also came to light in the Supreme Court that in the decision taken in the Manipur state case, the MLAs were not disqualified in the CPS case and following the same pattern, the Himachal Pradesh case was also reserved.

Attacking the BJP leaders, he said that some people in the BJP are continuously trying to destabilize the elected government of the state, but their intentions will never be fulfilled. The re-election of six Congress MPs to the Assembly was a result of the Chief Minister’s visionary thinking, public welfare policies and development programs of the state government, to which the public gave its seal of approval and expressed confidence in the Sukhu Government.

Nine hotels of the Tourism Corporation will start again

Talking about the closure of 18 hotels of the Tourism Corporation, Naresh Chauhan said that the state government submitted its stand on this matter before the State High Court, as a result of which nine hotels of the Corporation were ordered to reopen. He said other hotels of the corporation are also being studied and appropriate action will be taken once the report of the committee formed in this matter arrives. He said that the interests of the officials, employees and stakeholders of the Tourism Corporation are completely safe and have no reason to fear.

Chouhan also said that the present government is not responsible for the state of the corporation’s hotels, but this situation has arisen today due to the mismanagement of the previous BJP government. He said that the state government is bravely facing the challenges faced by the previous government and all possible efforts are being made to overcome them. He said the state government is moving towards making the state self-reliant by 2027, for which difficult decisions need to be made. He said the state government is giving top priority to the interests of the general public.
