At Mahayuti PC in Mumbai, NCP leader Ajit Pawar thanked the people of Maharashtra for the victory and said the people have supported us for development. The workers have worked very hard. He said that dear sister turned out to be a game changer. We had a big defeat in the Lok Sabha. We accepted this defeat and made corrections.

I have never seen such a huge majority – Ajit Pawar

Ajit Pawar further said that since I have been in politics, I have never seen such a big majority in any alliance. Now, if there is defeat, the opposition talks about ballot papers, but why didn’t they say so during the Lok Sabha elections? We have lost in Jharkhand.

We bow before the public: Fadnavis

Devendra Fadnavis said that we bow to the people of Maharashtra. Now we have to work hard. I express my gratitude to all voters. This shows Maharashtra’s confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Let us tell you that the BJP has so far won 24 seats in the Maharashtra Assembly elections and is ahead with 106, while its allies Shiv Sena and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) have won 15 and 14 seats respectively. The BJP’s leading winning candidates include MP Nitish Rane, who won the Kankavali assembly seat in Sindhudurg district by a margin of 58,007 votes. State Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar won the Colaba seat by 48,581 votes, while Shivendraraje Bhosle won from Satara by a huge margin of 1,42,124 votes. Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil won the Shirdi seat by a margin of 70,282 votes.

Uday Samant won Ratnagiri seat

Nilesh Rane, elder son of BJP MP Narayan Rane, won as a Shiv Sena candidate by a margin of 8,176 votes. State ministers and Shiv Sena candidates Uday Samant won from Ratnagiri, while Deepak Kesarkar won from Sawantwadi constituency by a margin of 41,590 votes and 39,899 votes respectively.

Shiv Sena has won 15 seats and its candidates are ahead with 39 seats. The NCP, led by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, has won 14 seats and is leading in 27 others. Maharashtra Assembly Deputy Speaker Narhari Jirwal won from Dindori constituency in Nashik district by a margin of 44,403 votes, while Aditi Tatkare won from Shrivardhan constituency in Raigarh district by a margin of 82,798 votes.
