Subhash Ghai said, “Filmmaking is completely based on the perspective of society. War and conflicts in the world often change depending on the perspective. My short film Gandhi is not just a story but an exploration of multiple perspectives. The idea arose from a conversation in which an 18-year-old student of Whistling Woods International spoke about the celebration of Gandhi Jayanti. He said, ‘Sir, I will not play the guitar to celebrate this occasion because I do not believe in Gandhi Jayanti and that honest expression inspired me to. grasp deeply the relevance of Gandhi today. I thank my friend and one of the best actors we have now, Manoj Bajpayee, for being a part of this film.

Filmmaker Subhash Ghai made another explosive revelation and said, “Manoj has not charged a single rupee for this film and wants the young generation to understand Gandhi.” Manoj Bajpayee said about this, ‘Subhash ji, thank you for saying that Gandhi is a point of view. Gandhiji is a role model for all of us, but there is a generation growing up who has misconceptions about him. I wanted to work with Subhash ji ever since I came to Mumbai. Finally my dream of working with Subhash ji in this Gandhi short film will come true. I had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with him as a director and with him as an actor. I have always learned from his films.
