4pm News Network: The political temperature is high over the results of the UP by-elections 2024. The counting of votes for 9 Assembly seats in by-elections continues today (November 23). In these by-elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party is ahead with 7 seats, while the Samajwadi Party is ahead with two seats. UP Congress president Ajay Rai has raised doubts over the results of this by-election. Speaking to the media, Ajay Rai said that in Uttar Pradesh it has already been decided that the government will participate in the elections with the help of its government machinery and police and will try to win the elections. This result is coming to the fore.
Taking aim at the Yogi government, Ajay Rai said, “The government is winning these elections by fully deploying its machinery and administration.” He said that certainly the government has put in place all the mechanisms of the administration, not only that, the voters were intimidated and democracy was completely murdered.
Adding to this, the Congress president said about the Jharkhand Assembly election results that “Our government did a good job in Jharkhand. There are many important reasons for the victory in Jharkhand, one of which is that Hemant Soren was sent to prison and tortured unnecessarily, after which his wife Kalpana Soren took charge and did a very good job, for this I would like to thank her. He further said that “the main reason for the Indian Alliance’s victory in Jharkhand is that the way Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed Babulal Marandi and Champai Soren with derogatory words from the stage during the election campaign, it made people here feel hurt.”
