Israeli attack in Beirut
Beirut: The Israeli army continually carries out intense bombardments against Hezbollah positions in Lebanon. Eleven people have been killed and many injured in fresh missile attacks by Israel in central Beirut. The Lebanese Civil Volunteers Organization said the death toll from the attack could rise as emergency rescue teams were still searching for people in the rubble.
Fourth attack in a week
Israel has attacked Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, for the fourth time in less than a week. The attack on Lebanon comes as US envoy Amos Hochstein visited the region this week to negotiate a ceasefire agreement between Israel and the terrorist organization Hezbollah.

According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, more than 3,500 people have been killed in Israeli airstrikes so far and more than 15,000 have been injured. According to Lebanon’s state news agency, the Beirut attack took place at 4 a.m. local time and destroyed an eight-story building. (AP)
