Chandigarh News: Ser. INIFD Premier League (IPL) 2024 in memory of Ashok Kaushik (Founding Director of INIFD) was successfully organized on 20th and 21st November at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Sector 21, Panchkula. The two-day cricket tournament provided spectators with exciting matches and paid tribute to the inspiring legacy of Ashok Kaushik.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (boys) defeated Chennai Super Kings to win the trophy with a score of 83/3, while Delhi Capitals (girls) defeated Kings XI Punjab with a score of 96/1 to lift the Champions Trophy. The Kings 11, Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians teams also performed commendably.
Amit Unehyal was the chief guest of the show. Along with him, director Anita Kaushik, Manav Kaushik (son) and Bhanu Sharma (nephew) also registered their presence. Their presence made the event emotional and inspiring.
