Ayodhya. The president of Rudauli municipality went on strike along with councilors from all parties. The president and the councilor accused the police of illegally occupying municipal land and attacked the police when they arrived at the scene. Rudauli sub-district magistrate Praveen Kumar Yadav and Rudauli sub-district magistrate reached the spot and spoke to the protesting people.
Municipal Chairman Jabbar Ali said that a municipal council land is situated in Ghosiana town. Whose case is pending in court. Before this, attempts were made twice to capture this land. Whose work was stopped. When I received information about the work being done in the morning, I called the SDM, CO and Kotwal. He asked everyone to stop the invasion. He went to the police station along with 25 members from all parties. He asked the police officer at the station to stop him. But they didn’t listen to us and stopped working there. When we reached the place, Kotwali Rudauli accused the councillors. Municipal employees were beaten. Action should be taken against Kotwal, Lekhpal and three officers. If this action is not taken and the merchandise is not removed, we will go on an indefinite strike.
