TTE saved the life of a passenger by applying CPR
Two TTEs of North Eastern Railways helped a passenger of a moving train in such a way that they are now being talked about a lot across the country. A passenger suffered a heart attack on the train going from Amritsar to Katihar. During this time, TTE, acting as an angel, saved the passenger’s life by giving him CPR and gave him a new life. After saving his life by giving him CPR, other passengers traveling on the train thanked the railway employees.
On Friday, a passenger traveling in the sleeper coach of 15078 Amrapali Express from Amritsar to Katihar suffered a heart attack. As a result, the passenger was left unconscious. This sudden incident created chaos in the train car. At that time, Chapra Deputy Chief Ticket Inspector Rajiv Kumar and Manmohan Kumar were performing their duty in the train. As soon as they got information that the passenger had suffered a heart attack, they both reached the passenger without delay.
TTE gave CPR to the passenger
They began attempting to return the unconscious passenger to consciousness using cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). He also immediately informed the Chhapra Health Unit doctor about the matter. After continued efforts by the TTE to perform CPR and artificial respiration, the passenger opened his eyes and began to feel better. By then, the train had reached Chhapra station. When the train reached here, the passenger was immediately treated by the doctor at the Chapra Health Unit.
