Job Fair: Union Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh on Thursday said that more than 24 lakh candidates have been provisionally selected during job fairs held in the last five years.
The centers organized a total of 34,809 job fairs.
In a written reply in Rajya Sabha, Singh said that according to the Ministry of Labor and Employment, from 2019-20 to 2023-24, a total of 34,809 job fairs were organized by state employment offices and model career centers.

He said these job fairs are conducted by the Ministry of Labor and Employment under the National Career Service (NCS) project.
24,37,188 candidates were selected
Singh further informed that in this five-year period, 26,83,161 job seekers and 83,913 employers participated in these fairs, and 24,37,188 candidates were provisionally selected.
