Urbanizations will be built in all cities following the model of large cities.
Chandigarh (Aaj Samaj). The Punjab government is giving priority to providing transparent, hassle-free, corruption-free and convenient services to the people of the state. The government is trying to meet the basic needs of food, clothing and housing of the population. Punjab Minister for Estates, Forestry, Urban Development and Water Supply and Sanitation Hardeep Singh Mundian said this while presenting the roadmap of his departments during a real estate conference organized on a private channel in Chandigarh last night.
Hardeep Mundian said that continuous work is being done to prioritize planned urban development in the state and solve the problems of people and city dwellers related to it. In each city, housing developments similar to those in large cities will be built, which will be equipped with better infrastructure on a very modern map. Surveys in this regard are being carried out in all cities and will soon be developed by the department.
The development authorities of the Department of Housing and Urban Development have earned Rs 5 billion twice through transparent e-auctions of properties. The Cabinet Minister said the government’s top priority is to provide accountability and transparent services. In a special field for resolution of pending cases, various development authorities provided colony licenses, completion certificates, letters of intent, zoning plans, construction plans, promoter registration certificates and layout plans, etc. to 51 promoters/builders.
Now on December 3, the second camp will be organized, in which certificates will be delivered to more than 100 promoters. The government does not make promises but guarantees that are fulfilled in all circumstances. The non-NOC plot registration works were pending for a long time, regarding which the government passed a law and issued a notification. Plots up to 500 yards will be recorded without NOC. This process will continue for three months from December 1, 2024 to February 28, 2025.
