There will be entertainment through cultural programs by teams and artists from educational institutions and people will also get the opportunity to come face to face with spirituality through exhibitions, processions, recitation of verses, etc. On Friday, following directions from Deputy Commissioner Munish Sharma, Municipal Magistrate Ashish Sangwan held a meeting of officials along with religious and social organizations and discussed preparations for the festival.

He said that the message of Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta is practical even today after centuries and anyone who has applied the message of Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta in his life has always achieved success at all levels. He said that the International Geeta Mahotsav will be celebrated in a grand and dignified manner in the district. Any educational, religious and social institution can participate in this festival. He appealed and said that this festival is a joint program of people of all religions and communities. Enthusiastically participate in all festivals.
The festival will begin with Havan Yagya on the first day and exhibitions will be organized on both days during the event.
The Haryana government is organizing district level Geeta Mahotsav in all districts of the state from December 9 to 11 and International Geeta Mahotsav is being organized in Kurukshetra from November 28 to December 15. In this series, district level Geeta Mahotsav will be organized at the local Shaheed Dalbir Singh Model Cultural Government Higher Secondary School near Jhadu Singh Chowk campus for which preparations are being made. The festival will begin with Havan Yagya on the first day and exhibitions will be organized on both days during the event.

To participate in Geeta Mahotsav 2024, any organization and citizen can give their information until December 5 at the office of the District Information and Public Relations Officer located in Room No. 101 on the first floor of the Old Mini Secretariat Building .
