A shocking case has come to light in Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh. Four underage girls who had gone to collect grass from the field have disappeared here. When the girls did not return home, the family searched for a long time in and around the farm, but could not find them. The victim’s family has filed a complaint with the police about the girls’ disappearance. The police have started searching for all the girls who have filed a missing person report.
Four minor girls, who had gone to collect green leaves from the fields in the town under West Sharira police station area in Kaushambi district, went missing under suspicious circumstances on Thursday. The girls had gone to the field to collect chickpea leaves, but did not return home. The victim’s family struggled to find the girls. When the girls were not found, the family filed a missing persons report with the police.
The girls had gone to pluck green leaves.
The police have formed five teams to search for the girls. Area officer Kaushambi Abhishek Singh said that on Thursday afternoon, a village resident and four girls living in the neighborhood had left the village to collect green leaves in the field, all the girls went missing. The age of all the missing girls is said to be between 15 and 16 years old.

The area officer said that when the four did not return home till late in the night, their relatives started searching for them and when they could not find them anywhere, they informed the police. Late in the night, the police registered a case under section 87 of the BNS (Indian Judicial Code) and started searching for all the girls. The area officer said five teams have been formed to search for the missing girls and efforts are on to locate them.
