New Delhi: Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday said the party is not performing as per expectations in many states and the biggest need is to strengthen the organisation. Tweeting about the X, Kharge said that in many states, our organization has not lived up to expectations. Our greatest need is to strengthen the organization.
In the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting, Mallikarjun Kharge told all members in front of Rahul Gandhi that we must immediately learn from the election results and correct all our weaknesses and shortcomings at the organizational level. These results are a message for us. Unless we fight unitedly in the elections, how can we give a political defeat to our opponents? That is why it is important for everyone to follow discipline.
Being in favor of the environment does not guarantee victory.
Kharge said the mood was in our favor in the recent elections. But mere favorable environment does not guarantee victory. We have to learn to transform the environment into results. What is the reason why we are not able to take advantage of the environment? That’s why we have to work hard and formulate a strategy at the right time. We have to strengthen our organization down to the booth level.
The Congress president said that our organization in many states does not meet expectations. Our greatest need is to strengthen the organization. How long will they fight state elections based on national issues and leaders? The recent election results also indicate that we should start our election preparations in the federal states at least a year in advance.
Success cannot be achieved all the time by following the old path.
In the CWC meeting, he said that we cannot achieve success all the time by following the old pattern. You have to see what your political opponent does on a daily basis. We have to make decisions on time. Accountability needs to be fixed. Kharge said we will have to improve the methods of participation in elections in every situation. Because times have changed. The methods of participating in elections have changed. We need to know our communication strategy.
He will have to do better than the opponents. He told members that sometimes we become our own worst enemies. We don’t have any narrative, so I ask whose responsibility is it to create the narrative and disseminate it to the public?
