The ICC has now responded to the PCB in its own language.

ICC Champions Trophy 2025: The Pakistan Cricket Board i.e. PCB is supposed to host the ICC Champions Trophy in the year 2025 in the month of February-March but after the BCCI refused to send the Indian team to play in Pakistan, the ICC thought of organizing it in a hybrid model. However, the PCB is not yet ready to conduct the tournament in this manner, so the schedule for the Champions Trophy is yet to be announced. On November 29, ICC had a meeting with PCB and BCCI in which an attempt was made to reach a consensus to carry it out in a hybrid model, but ICC did not make any announcement. Now news is emerging that ICC has responded to PCB in its own language.

ICC warned PCB

The ICC has now warned the PCB about the Champions Trophy 2025, in which, according to news agency PTI, the ICC has clearly told the PCB to accept the hybrid model or expel them from the tournament. Following the virtual meeting held on November 29, the ICC postponed the decision until November 30. An ICC Board source, who did not want to be named, said in a statement to PTI that no broadcaster will pay a single cent for any ICC event in which the Indian team is not a part and Pakistan knows this too. . Now the ICC meeting will be held on November 30 only if PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi accepts the hybrid model.

The tournament can be held even without Pakistan

In his statement, the ICC Board source further said that if Pakistan is not ready for the hybrid model, then a decision can be taken to hold the Champions Trophy in some other country, which could also be the UAE. and that too without Pakistan. Now all eyes are on the ICC meeting on November 30, where some important decisions can be made.
