A case of alleged rape of a four-year-old girl in a village in Etawah area of Uttar Pradesh district has come to light. Police said the alleged incident occurred early Thursday morning.
Police said the girl was sleeping with her mother. When the mother woke up around 3 a.m., she found the girl missing. Police said the girl’s family began searching for her and found her lying in a pool of blood and crying near a pond on the outskirts of town.
He said the girl was admitted to the hospital where her condition is said to be out of danger. Additional Superintendent of Police Siddharth said that based on the complaint of the girl’s relatives, an FIR has been registered against an unknown person. He said that two teams have been formed to identify and arrest the accused.
Cases of rape of innocent girls are increasing every day. Recently, a seven-year-old girl who had gone to the market in Badaun, Uttar Pradesh, suddenly went missing.
