A case of love jihad has come to light in Abunagar area of Sadar Kotwali area of Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh. A young man named Mohammad Shadab is alleged to have changed his name to Raja Pal and then lured a Hindu girl from Badaun into his love trap. After the marriage, Shadab’s true identity came to light.
The victim says that after marriage, Shadab pressured her and her children to convert to the Muslim religion. Furthermore, the boys were circumcised and the victim was forced to eat beef and perform namaz by force. When the victim protested, Saadab beat her and threw her out of the house, threatening to kill her. He also had two children from this relationship.

Apart from this, the victim told the police that Shadab’s real identity came to light when he took her to Fatehpur. When he reached Shadab’s house and saw his customs there, he understood that he was a Muslim. When the victim asked Saadab why she was hiding her true identity, he attacked her and forced her to convert.
The police registered a case on the victim’s complaint.
After this incident, the victim reached the police station along with the Bajrang Dal workers and sought justice. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the police registered the case under serious sections and started searching for the accused. Fatehpur Additional Superintendent of Police Vijay Shankar Mishra said that the medical examination of the victim is being carried out and the police are taking necessary action. The accused will also be arrested soon.
