Mumbai: NCP’s Ajit Pawar faction on Friday released the second list of its candidates for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. The most important thing in this list was that Nawab Malik’s ticket was cancelled. He did not get the ticket from the Anushakti Nagar seat where Nawab Malik is the MLA. Ajit Pawar has fielded Nawab Malik’s daughter Sana Malik as his candidate from Anushakti Nagar.
Nawab Malik can fight Abu Azmi
According to sources, the BJP was opposed to giving entry to Nawab Malik of Anushakti Nagar. According to the latest information, the BJP’s opposition to granting the ticket to Nawab Malik of the Ajit Power faction continues. However, Ajit Pawar remains firm on his decision to give entry to Nawab Malik. According to sources, the NCP’s Ajit faction may give a ticket to Nawab Malik from the Mankhurd Shivaji Nagar assembly seat. Currently, Samajwadi Party state president Abu Azmi is the MLA here.
