Lucknow. Neither the political conditions nor the situation has changed in Uttar Pradesh! In such a situation, UP chief CM Yogi, who has promised to win all the seats in the by-elections, is facing a river of fire and it is difficult to swim in it. Because except Milkipur, out of the seats where elections are held, five seats were occupied by Sisamau, Katehari, Karhal, Milkipur and Kundarki SP. While Phulpur, Ghaziabad, Majhwan and Khair were with the BJP. SP National President Akhilesh Yadav has questioned and said that if there is no dishonesty in the by-elections being held in 9 seats in Uttar Pradesh and the elections are conducted in a fair and transparent manner, then the Samajwadi Party will win all seats and the BJP losing all the seats. Now the big question is that if this statement of Akhilesh Yadav, who said that the BJP will be defeated in the Lok Sabha elections, turns out to be true, then the BJP will change the face of its Chief Minister in UP. Just as it was done in Uttarakhand, Haryana and Rajasthan. If sources are to be believed, there is double pressure on UP CM Yogi. The first pressure comes from NDA allies, including Omprakash Rajbhar, Sanjay Nishad and Anupriya Patel. And the second pressure is the UP by-elections. Because they have been given clear signals that if the BJP loses in the by-elections then they will be in trouble. Therefore, the high command has given a free pass to CM Yogi in the UP by-elections. You can fight whoever you want, from where you want and how you want. Political analyst DK Tripathi says CM Yogi’s slogan ‘Katenge to Batenge’ was also approved by the RSS so that he could contest the elections as per his wish. Whatever slogan one wants to participate in the elections with, he only needs to win. If there is no victory then there will be problems for CM Yogi.

Weakened UP results

In the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP flag was hoisted across the country except UP. The BJP had to face defeat in UP. The BJP wanted to form a strong central government like before. So the issues that PM Modi wanted to clarify were similar to the way Article 370 was removed in Kashmir. But this time that’s not happening. Did the JPC also have to be held on the Waqf Amendment Bill?

That is why partial elections are held

  • The Karhal seat fell vacant as SP chief Akhilesh Yadav was elected MP from Kannauj.
  • The Katehari (Ambedkar Nagar) seat fell vacant due to the party’s election of Lalji Verma from the Ambedkar Nagar Lok Sabha seat.
  • The Madhyavan seat of Mirzapur fell vacant after BJP’s Vinod Kumar was elected to the Lok Sabha from Bhadohi.
  • BJP’s Anup Singh alias Anup Pradhan Balmiki won Aligarh’s Khair Assembly seat after being elected from Hathras Lok Sabha seat.
  • He has resigned.
  • BJP’s Praveen Patel resigned from the Phulpur Assembly seat of Prayagraj after being elected from the Phulpur Lok Sabha seat.
  • SP leader Zia ur Rehman Barke’s Kundarki Assembly seat in Moradabad has fallen vacant due to his election to the Lok Sabha from Sambhal.
  • Rashtriya Lok Dal’s Chandan Chauhan resigned from his Meerapur Assembly seat in Muzaffarnagar after being elected Lok Sabha member from Bijnor.

This choice can be a difficult task.

The Nishad Party had claimed the Katehari and Majhanwa seats and had said that it wanted to contest the elections in these seats based on its symbol. For this, Sanjay Nishad also met Home Minister Amit Shah. But his dal was not accepted let alone the symbol, he did not even get a seat. Omprakash Rajbhar has also been heard changing his tune at some places. In such a situation, only after the SP did not give up any seats to the Congress, the BJP changed its strategy and Sanjay Nishad also explained that this election is a lonely election. The meaning of victory or defeat in this election will go far. This election has become a matter of concern for CM Yogi. Because as soon as a by-election is held, it belongs to the government. Regardless of the state, most candidates of the ruling government win by-elections. When the SP was in power in UP, Akhilesh Yadav’s party had won all the remaining seats except the Saharanupur seat. In such a situation, due to SP’s preparations, PDA issue and mutual infighting within NDA constituencies, it may become a difficult task for CM Yogi to register victory in the by-elections.

The results of the by-elections will be a turning point

78 candidates filed their nomination papers on Friday for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly by-elections, taking the total number of candidates to 149 for nine seats. According to the Election Commission (EC), the scrutiny of nomination papers took place on October 28 and the last date to withdraw candidature is October 30, i.e. today. Voting will be cast on November 13 and results will be declared on November 23. The results of the by-elections will be a turning point for UP politics. The results of these elections will show whether the voters of Uttar Pradesh stick with the PDA formula or whether they would like to be divided. Mayawati’s character will also prove important, what did she do in these elections? The Congress has done the job of fixing the playing field in Maharashtra by giving up all the seats in UP. Because the SP demands five seats there at all costs. Abu Asim has even fielded candidates there. Owaisi’s party is contesting elections in 14 seats in Maharashtra.
