Chaturdashi Tithi will start on October 30 i.e. today at 1:15 pm and Chaturdashi Tithi will end on October 31 at 3:52 pm. On this day, Abhyang Snan Muhurta will be from 5.20 am to 6.32 am on October 30.

Chhoti Diwali 2024 Pujan Vidhi

Before Chhoti Diwali, a pot is filled with water on Ahoi Ashtami of Kartik Krishna Paksha. On the day of Narak Chaturdashi, there is a tradition of mixing the water in this pot with water for bathing and bathing. It is believed that by doing this one is freed from the fear of hell. After bathing, fold your hands towards the south and pray to Yamraj. By doing this, the sins committed by a person throughout the year are destroyed.

On this day, light an oil lamp outside the main entrance of the house for Yamraj. On the day of Narak Chaturdashi, after worshiping all the gods at night, light oil lamps and place them on both sides of the door frame of the house, outside the house and at the entrance to the workplace. It is believed that by doing this Goddess Lakshmi always resides in the house. On this day, during the Nishith period, useless objects should be discarded from the house. It is believed that Goddess Lakshmi enters the house on Diwali, the day after Narak Chaturdashi, so dirt should be removed from the house.
